Lord, I thank you for giving us life and breath and everything we have, and we know that all things come from You to perfect us in every way. We cannot always see your grand design, but we accept the good and bad from you. Please comfort Airedale as she watches her mother go through surgery, and teach her anew about Your Comfort. I also ask for her mother's healing, if it is Your Will, and the ability to see Your mighty hand in this trial of her life. Finally, I ask for wisdom for the surgeon as he uses his hands to operate, that he may cut with precision and speed along her healing. Thank you Lord for giving me another opportunity to pray and reach out to my brethren, wherever they may be, and I also pray for the ones that do not know you, so you will draw all of Your children to You.
