I'd like everyone to keep my niece, Krystal, in everyone's prayers. She has Down Syndrome and is 22 yrs old. Yesterday she had bleeding on her brain and it was determined she has a clot in a vessel leading to her brain. The prognosis right now ranges from the clot being able to be dissolved with blood thinners to the possibility of it being fatal. She and our familly need prayer.

Update: Krystal is doing much better. She is back to her normal ornery self . She does have some weakness in her left leg and will be on meds for six months to ensure the clot fully dissolves. She's not out of the woods yet but seems to be well on the way to recovery. She's out of the hospital now and at home for the time being. She had been in a group home and it's hoped she can return there in the future.
