I've seen this done elsewhere, so I am putting up this thread so I can be aware of things you may need prayer for. Jesus said that the greatest among you is one who serves, so I am jockeying for that position! Thanks be to God for giving me the ability to serve.

I don't know how to put this, but I need lots of prayers... I'm just not sure specifically what to pray for.

My grandmother is in the hospital and isn't expected to make it to Christmas. She is bleeding internally and has become delusional. I have no way of getting to where she is.

All I can do is sit here and wait for "the call"...

Thank you for your offer, VV. We will be traveling between Guatemala and 3 different states to see family in the U.S.(Dec. 16-Jan.2). Not only would I appreciate your prayers on our behalf for a safe and uneventful journey, but also that we won't be so tied up in knots from the tension of traveling that we can't enjoy our children and grandchildren.

Please pray that I don't develop gangrene in my leg and foot. I pray everyday, but it is nice for other people to pray for you too. I have faith, and I believe God won't let this happen to me, because he knows how much we can bear. At this point, I don't believe that I could bear it if I had to have an amputation and the only way out might be suicide. Please, Please pray for me. Would everyone that read this post, pray for me. A lot of people on AP have criticized some of my posts, but I hope they don't hold that against me, and not pray for me.

yes, prayer is a wonderful thing. I don't know how many saw my post in the health section ( About my great uncle ) but I belive he was healed because of prayer. I currently have a cousin who was shot in the lungs during an israel terrorist attack. I have prayed a lot and he is now no longer in critical condition. Prayer brings me such comfort. We are lucky to be able to have the ability to pray.

I just spoke with the social worker at the hospital grandma is in. The doctor who originally said she wouldn't make it to Christmas is now releasing her to a nursing facility for rehabilitation.

"The prayer of a righteous man [or in this case, woman] is powerful and effective" James 5:16 (bracketed text added). Thank you VV.
