For those of you who are wondering, I will be having a gastric bypass (yes, I hope laparoscopically). I've been through a whole swarm of tests, and everything looks good.

I'll miss all of you! (I wish I had a laptop!)
As soon as I can, I'll be back and letting you all know what's up!

Don't worry Tex, my wife had "cysts burnt" and "endometriosis" taken care of, tru "laparoscopically surgery" on the same day and it went very well! SmileI know your operation is different and you'll be fine real soon!

Gosh, I'm the last to know what is going on! Puppy and Sam - ya'll are slacking off on the e-mails!

Sorry Mitzi - I'm on vacation so taking a break from the Pool...or I would have posted earlier! I know this is an exciting time for you but can't imagine you being 100 pounds overweight! That's the magic number you have to be here for a doc to do that sort of surgery. It's become quite popular and I know a lot of people who have had it done. Most have had no complications at all...other than the continual problem of clothes being too big for them! Big Grin

Tex updating her situation,
here is an excerpt :

I was released just 48 hours after surgery! (Think I surprised the nurses!) I got home late this morning and have been resting. I'm coming along quite well -Thanks!
