Keep me in your prayers
I have just lost my Dad (May 11)
I Shall post as & when in the next few weeks until things are resolved
Which may mean No Posts? or sporadic posts? OK?
Have started the Funeral arrangements process (which is a headache ) and Have other matters to clear up
Personally in the long term It may mean a house move (Not looking forward to that!)....More disruption
I'm posting still it's my way of keeping this on the back burner(grieving) But I may go to a No post or an Intermittent post for an unspecified time, or C) carry on as best I can?
Hopefully the last option (albeit not as much as
now) will be my target (already posting fewer than usual)Be for several weeks
If I don't post I'll keep an eye on things "as and when" I can

I may post updates on DiscussionPool instead if not here
It will be on this thread

Mike, I can only offer my condolences and repeat what JR said. The pain eventually subsides, and you learn to live with his absence. Grieving is a process which allows us to finally accept death. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry, Mike! I can relate to you. My Dad passed on years ago - and then my Mom. No matter what anyone says, the pain seems never-ending.

As was said here, the pain will eventually subside. Eventually...it does subside, but will always be there.
