22 year old...no trouble...education....job...virgin...
Then meets a man and thinks she is in love. She is now pregnant. Recently she found out that her (ex now) boyfriend has been in prison for assualt with a deadly weapon and burning someone in their home...Nothing of which she knew about for almost a year.
He cheated on her and left and said he wanted nothing to do with the baby, but when he found out it was a boy he insisted on getting the baby because he "wants his name carried on by his family"
She refused. He is now stalking her and her mother. He has broken in their home and is driving them insane. I am scared for their safety and for this unborn child. The grand mother is trying to plan a way for them to run and hide.
Thats not all, but enough for you to get an idea.
She is terrified! She let her mom call the cops at one break in, but thats all. She is scared that he will hurt her enough to hurt/kill the baby. So she doesn't want to do anything "wrong"--
Please PLEASE PLEASE... Say a prayer for Mishelle and baby Jayden...if you have prayer list, add her...
My heart really breaks for her!

I will pray for their safety and peace of mind, but the Lord DOES help them who help themselves...she MUST file stalking/harrassment charges, get a restraining order and report ANY violation of that order....she also needs a lawyer to help ensure that this monster does not get any unsupervised visitation with the baby....Now, I'll go light my candle.

Oh, Ruthann, I feel so bad for your friend. Do you have any Battered (applies to physical or mental abuse) Women Shelters down there where she could hide out? You're right--she needs to stay the hell away from him. Restraining order would be a start but are rarely the solution--lots of women have been hurt even after filing them. Please let us know how she's doing and if there's anything anyone here can do. I'm actually doing some volunteer work on Wednesday and will be meeting with a lady from one of our shelters here---I could ask her about you getting in touch with a local shelter---I'm sure that there is a national network. Definately what MrsS said. Even if people think it's 'just a piece of paper' that paper is on file and everytime he violates it, it's recorded. When they end up in court (which it sounds like they will for the baby) she will have FACTS of violation in her hands to use as a defense. Since he has a record already, depending on how bad it gets, he could go back to prison.
I'll pray for her as well, I hope that she and the baby are okay.
