It seems help got to the Pakistanis faster than it reached the hurricane victims... Have you seen the pictures on the news? Devastating.
They will certainly be in my thoughts.

I am not in Pakistan. But yes i have been told by my relatives that things are terrible in Kashmir and parts of NWFP. Whole towns and villages have been made flat. My parents are in Lahore, which did experience the earthquake... but fortunately no major damage happened in Lahore.

It is indeed a horrible time and place to be. People over there are ready to do anythiing to help fellow neighbours. Government was initially slow to react... as they were estimating the effect of earthquake. Now local people and NGO's , government, foreign assistance (both private & government)are doing all that they can. Just better organisation is required.

May Allah help us, forgive us & show us all the right way.

Sorry i did not see the reply before. If you have not done anything... then do no worries. I know i have done loads of things that do not please God. I do not count on mydeeds but count more on His mercy.
