Can someone help me? This is surely really simple but I just can't remember how to do this.

The formula x = ^a*b/_y+z solves for 'x'. I need to change this formula to solve for 'a'. Help!

Multiply both sides by (y+z)
x(y+z) = (y+z) * (a*b/y+z)
x(y+z) = {(y+z)/1} * (a*b/y+z)
x(y+z) = a*b

Now divide both sides by b.
x(y+z)/b = (a*b)/b
x(y+z)/b = a

I'm reading your formula left to right as
x=(a*b)/(y+z).
solve for a
x*(y+z)=a*b
(x*(y+z))/b=a
Rearrange
a=x/b*(y+z)

Well, I was first, but Peteeo may be right. I suspect I've made a silly error somewhere.
