Protocols give direction for studies, experiments or medical treatment. Protocols are just a set of standards which organize gathered data to help explain medical questions or determine problems. A protocol would include what types of people may participate in a clinical trial, the schedule of tests, procedures, medications, and dosages including the length of the study. By having a protocol, a study can be analyzed more accurately. Remember: A problem well said is a problem half solved.
