I get a fixed drug reaction from penicillin that can take months to clear up without treatment. The usual treatment is prednisone. This drug and antihistamines also cause me unpleasant side affects. Has anyone been successful using natural alternatives, herbs, fasting, liquid diet etc.?

I don't know anything about natural alternative medicine, but I DO know that many preparations of herbals are not equally prepared and some are poorly done and down-right dangerous.

I would find yourself a very good doctor and use the advice of a trained doctor.. who would be much better prepared to help you make good choices.

As for adverse drug reactions to Penicillin, do NOT take it anymore. Those reactions could eventually kill you. My father nearly died from anaphilactic shock and his respiratory system shut down. There are other drugs that may be more efective.
