I've heard there's a disease you can get from inhaling dust from birds. For example, hookbills, chickens, herons, etc. I just found out that my Great Grandma had it. Apparently if you have it you cannot handle birds anymore or you could die because of some sort of fungus or something having a reaction in your lungs?

Creepy. Any info would be helpful- thanks

A near neighbor of mine had to give up his racing pigeons because of having got this ,mind you he's over 80 (been keeping pigeons since he was in his 20's)
