I have no idea what to get her. She's in college, but received everything she needed for her HS graduation in June. I hate to send $, so that is out of the question. I can't take her out since she is in NJ and I'm in NC. Her B-day is on the 15th and I need help!
How about gift certificates? College students don't usually have money for luxury things like clothes or dinners out (aside from the cafeteria). You could find out what is near her and get her gift certificates for dinner and some clothes.

A luxury bathrobe, cozy slippers,a really great pajamas(think satin "hostess" set) or a shower caddy loaded with good bath products would be great options, especially if she's living in the dorms or with multiple roomates. A quality organiser(in which you've entered important family dates like birthdays and anniversaries as well as addresses/phone #s)? A subscription to a favorite magazine? CD's? Books? a "tea for one" set with a pretty teapot, cup and saucer, presented with an assortment of teas?Supplies for a favorite hobby? Good luck with the choosing.

I think the gift certificate idea is great. If you wanted to make it more personal, you could find some specific charms and have a special charm bracelet that over the years you can add more charms when you find them.
