A friend of mine recently had a birthday party for her son. She spent $50.00 on all the party bags! The party bags were almost like gifts in themselves. There were pencils, candy, trading cards, silly putty etc...
What do people generally spend on party bags?

Well....how many bags are we talking about? On the rare occassions that I am asked to put together favor bags, I generally hit the dollar store....you can put together some well stuffed bags for about $1.50 a pop....if this party was for 30 kids, 50 bucks doesn't seem unreasonable(though how anyone survives a party of 30 kids without serious sedatives is beyond me) If we are talking about a more reasonably sized party of 8 to 12 kids....$50 is an awful lot of money!
