It it unusual for 2 blonde parents to have a redhead child (deep red)?

Hey honi, I doubt very much that it's unusual. Unless of course, the entire family background was looked into and not one single red-head was among them.

That ain't my baby... its got red hair. You slept with my cousin, my best friend and the neighbor's poodle... you tramp. When I find out this red haired kid ain't mine you can quit calling me!!

Note: If red hair is a recessive gene then YES it is possible but it is pretty unusual.
