1 cup Bean Puree made with Great Northern Beans 1/4 cup chopped onion 2 large cloves garlic, minced 1 tbs. bacon drippings 1/2 cup chopped tomato, fresh or canned 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. chili powder
Prepare bean puree. In a small saucepan, saute' onion and garlic in bacon drippings until onion is tender but not browned. Add bean puree, tomato, pepper and chili powder. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Keep warm in a chafing dish, adding water if necessary to maintain the consistency.
Serve with cocktail sausages or meatmalls for dipping.
