Is it required that you include a source such as an online dictionary on a MLA Works Cited Page? I used the dictionary to look up scientific terms that laymen would not be familiar with and was just wondering if MLA rules say I should include the source. Thanks!

Did you look them up for your own edification or actually cite the definitions in the body of your text?

I wasn't going to cite the definitions directly, but I was going to apply them to part of my own explanation of the concept. Should I cite the website just to be on the safe side?

Unless you quote directly there's no reason to include this source in your Works Cited section. Just about everyone uses a dictionary or thesaurus when writing a paper.
