I have just recieved a link to give to a friend of Mine who debates religion ,but yet is not a worshipper.
Is this a safe site? Had a quick browse and seems well controlled "Debates" seem as lively as here on AP

But My friend was brought up a Catholic (lapsed many years ago)and has a library on religious debate books on this genre.He attends many of these fringe religious group meetings
And He does not spout anything at me (Been friends for 30 years) Bit eccentric but a good guy to be with. Has 2 university Graduates in his Household (1 Masters) So you cannot call him an airhead on subjects (Note: He cannot use a computer apart from reading webpages ) So somebody has to turn the computer on and open the site up for him (and close the site/computer afterwards)

I've lurked there a couple times. Not sure what the attraction of a board made up of like minds would be.

Mixing religion and politics? Sounds like dynamite to me...

I've been a member of the infidels.org forum for years, mostly as a lurker.

There are many theists posting there, but proselytizing 'fundies' are given short shrift.
