Does anyone know the coined names and periods of the various generations, you know, like 19xx to 19xx was the "Baby Boomers", then there was the peace generation, love generation, the 'me' generation, generation x, or something like that? A person born today would be what generation??

Thanks for the reference Koz. It appears that each generation has been dubbed with different names by different media types. As I see it:
if you're over 80 you're a part of the GI Generation....
if you're between 60 and 80 years old, consider yourself a member of the Silent Generation....
if 40 to 60, you're a Boomer...
aged 25 to 40, you're Generation X'ers....
3 to 25 year olds are generation Y'ers ....
Those recently born or not yet born might be named Generation Z or the Cyber Generation...
There seems to be a generation called the "Greatest" Generation who seem to be about the age of 75 to 90. Congratulations, FrankVan.
