I prefer 2002a, better features, more flexibility,better looking interface.

Tree, ICQ LITE is a new software from produced by icq for users who takes very long to download and install the program. ICQ LITE takes less memory than icq2002a. normally, in icq2002a, it takes about 4mb memory, ICQ LITE takes about 2mb (about). But it got less features.

In that case, my vote sticks with
ICQ 2002a Some people think ICQ is
a waste of time, but I find it majorly
handy - especially sending BIG files
which you CANNOT sent thru email!
(as in actual programs, for that matter!)

Another difference - found out today that the 'lite' version is not able to use the chat program. Message came up this morning that "chat is not available in version downloaded" when trying to connect to someone who had just joined.
In 'messaging' she told me that she had downloaded the basic......
