In the UK Next year the Main Telecom Company is Upgrading the Nextwork Line speeds for Broadband Providers to a "Possible" 20Mbps Line speed (Will take several months as there are several Hundred exchanges/sub exchanges)And they are rewiring the Network too with Fibre optic cable
This will take several years and their Target is to get the UK running at an optimistic 100 Mbps speed! (FYI Current generation BB Routers can accept this speed at their current design limit)
Only thing that niggles me is what will (and can) we do with those speeds?

Even 20 Mbps is far too Fast for my Purposes!
I am getting 1.1 Mbs on my AOL (up to 8Mbps) Link which is the Norm for the Houses in this area Have had a spurt at 6.4 Mbps Last year.
With the forthcoming Upgrade I'm happy as I am
Pay the same money(& get the advertised 8 Mbps)...That's Warp Drive for Me

. If they offer the High speed Broadband prices for those will surely rise steeply and be divided into 1 speed for industry and the rich and the lower band for the Majority(And just when they got the Pricing structure simplified!)
I have decided to take this timely survey Global
to find out what the Situation is like local to you.
Please answer all the Questions so it Balances out. Thanks.
