PM Dawn was on "Hit Me Baby One More Time" last night and it was apparent that the lead singer Prince Be (Attrell Cordes) was suffering from vision loss. He had to be led down the stairs and once on stage led over to a seat where he sat as he performed one of their orginal songs as well as a remake of a modern song.

The question about his health has been asked several times on message boards at NBC.com but so far there have been no responses except for a vague assumption that he suffered from diabetes. That assumption was only made because the band won the contest last night and the charity they chose to accept their winnings was Juvenile Diabetes.

So for you "in the know", do you know what is wrong with him?

Reading the other posts, I think he just got eye correction surgery. Scratch this I guess.

It does sounds like he's had eye surgery, so he probably hasn't recuperated fully yet. Since diabetes affects the eyes, it could have very well been diabetes-related. I'll see if I can find out more.

Oh! I just saw the date, 12-17-2004. I accidently read the 2001 registration date and didn't read what it was. Yeah, Honi may be right.

Thanks for the info. IF it was really Attrell Cordes posting, he was referring to laser surgery to correct vision - similiar to Lasik. It's not done for treatment of diabetes affected eyes. It's just a common vision corrective surgery that brings about clarity anywhere from a few hours to a few days. That post was Dec of last year. His impairment was on a live show last week so don't think it was due to the lasser surgery. Let's keep looking folks - question still unanswered Frown
