"Old" and "classics" are unusual descriptions for songs that can date only to 1995! I should expect a commercially available compilation of R & B "Hits of the Nineties" to be advertised within two or three years - just about the time the reminiscing begins setting in for a large enough share of the market to make such a compilation a success. Have you tried downloading MP3s and burning a disk of the songs you enjoy the most? If you don't have a CD burner, perhaps a friend could do this for you! I certainly don't wish to discourage you and may be totally wrong about the commercial availability of such a disk. Does anyone else know of one?

Well, my first thought was to try the "MTV Party To Go" series. They have a collection of pop and R&B tunes, but I can't think of anything exactly like what you're looking for. There are several budget line (and midline) titles like "Soul Classics: Best of the 90's", "Smoove R&B: 90's Style", "Hip Hop In The 90's", "New R&B Essentials", "Soul of the 90's, Vol. 1", etc. All are in print and available on bn.com (the first place I look), other online retailers and by special order from your local record stores. I'd go to bn.com (or another online retailer), and check the track listings for the ones listed above, and see if any of them meet your requirements.
