I have these awful pimples on my stomach where the waist of my pants sit. Most of them are small and go away on thier own(and alaways come back) but a few of them get very large and turn purple. It is very unsightly, the big and small ones. I don't know what is causing it or how to get rid of it. I use a mild soap(Dove) and a moisturizer for sensitive skin(Lubriderm). I have tried different products but there has been no change. I don't squeeze them or scrub them because I know this will make it worse so what do I do? Thank you in advance for your help.

I would recommend that you visit a dermatologist. The doctor may be able to give you a prescription acne-fighter if the over-the-counter ones you have tried are failing.

From your description (esp mentioning that some turn purple) it sounds like you have contact dermatitis. I ask if you wear a belt because the nickle in a belt or belt buckle will cause this reaction on a lot of people. This has happened to me so many times I eventually threw out the offensive belt. Also detergents, soaps, perfumes, even certain clothing fibers. You may have never had a problem before but that's unique about contact dermatitis - what once never bothered you can all of a sudden cause this allergic reaction.

I do suggest you make an appointment with a dermatologist and in the mean time try soaking in Aveda Oatmeal Bath and wear loose fitting clothing.
