Today I was cooking and stupid me I opened the roasting pot and steam burned my 3 left fingers
i did this at 2:40 and it is 5:40 now and they are
still burning I am having to keep my hand in a cup of cold water the ice wash cloth isnt working then I called ask a nurse and she said to try Solicaine and I did but it is still burning it feels more like it is burning from the inside what else can I try? I also tried butter.

Sherry, solarcaine, cortaid and I believe benedryl makes a burn creme. Unfortunately burns hurt like you know what and there really isn't a lot you can do except wait it out. Take some aspirin or even an anti-inflammatory like Tylonol to help with the pain. It should feel better tomorrow. Poor sherry, hope you feel better soon.
