I have had several warts on my fingers, and one under my toe when I was little..and they went away... But a few months ago, I started getting another wart exactly where I had one when I was a kid. and now I have noticed that I am getting another one on the side of ly right ring finger.. Frown The one that is the oldest is on my right index finger, on the side, where the first "fold" or "crease" is and it is getting more and more painful.. I have used that acidic wart remover, but it is not working.. Does anyone know of any other ways to get rid of them?

Thanks ~Ainna

I suggest if they are bothering you that you make an appointment with a dermatalogist and discuss having them burned off with liquid nitrogen.

Retin-A will take off warts, but it takes a VERY long time. It seems like it took a couple of months to get rid of mine. Here is where I get Retin-A from: http://www.4cnrs-skincare.com/retin-a.html?PHPSESSID=2baef585994edd0b3f48d135b6e91012

Silver duct tape! Cover your wart with silver duct tape...if it's in a location that shows, I just put a band-aid over the duct tape and who's to know. It will take a cou-ple of weeks but it will get rid of the wart.

WARTS are infections caused by a virus in the human papillomavirus family. The small bumps may appear anywhere on the body, including on the skin, fingers, genitals, or even in the mouth.

While warts often disappear on their own, some people may need treatment through topical soltuyion or minor surgery. Over-the-counter topical solutions should never be used on the face or the genitals, I recommend that you speak with your doctor about how to treat warts in those areas.

Thanks and more power! Wink
