I've recently had an itch on my middle finger . A few weeks later I got this huge bump on it. Its really REALLY ugly. I think its permenant. When I try to squezz this bump, I bearly feel any pain. Its been a week since I had this and this bump is the same size. I think it'll stay on my figner forever. How do I get rid of this?
It could be a ganglion cyst. I've had one on my middle finger and index finger. I had to have both of them surgically removed. Mine appeared to be just an ordinary bump at first but it didn't take long for me to know they weren't after I started trying to pick them with a needle.

Is the affected area red or warm to the touch? You mentioned that it was itching a few weeks ago. If you scratched it you very easily could have deposited bacteria into slight tears in the skin. You also could have opened the door for a fungal infection. Either of these would result in a raised bump or abscess. Keep a close eye on the area for a few days, making sure you don't pick at it and keep clean by using anti-bacterial soap. If it's red or warm to the touch you could take an over the counter anti-inflammatory. After a few days if you see no improvement or if you see that the bump is worsening, then please contact a dermatologist. It's quite possible it may be nothing but a doctor can best determine a treatment and give you a diagnosis.

Oops. I didn't mean few months. I meant 3 YEARS!!!!
Its just like an extra part of skin on my middle finger. If you look in your middle finger *top* in the middle of middle finger you see like your wrinkles. thats where my problem comes. I barely has any wrinkles. It has 2 big lines.. UH!!! UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone please help me.
AS I said, If I even poke that layer through a needle, I won't feel a pain. (Not RIGHT through it, but little bit in)
Happy - if you have had this condition for a few years then this is something you should definately see a doctor about. There are very few of us on this site that are actual doctors and while we are quite knowledgeable in a wide variety of things, when it comes to conditions of the human body we can offer advice and suggestions but will ultimately suggest you follow-up with a trained professional.
Again, it could be nothing and if you have lived with it for several years with no difficulties then you probably have little to worry about. But it obviously is troubling you now so perhaps it is time to contact a dermatologist?
