Hi, my name is diane and I'm 33 years old and I have notice that the last 6 months my skin under the eye has become very dry... I do not smoke, and I drink enough water during the day and I have always put some eye cream on and nothing has any effect... the area around the eye still dry, even whe I put sun screen on it become even more evident because it is dry it become shiny and scaly like... What else can I do?? What is the best eye cream to combat under eye dryness on the market?? Have you heard about eye vive?? Is it any good?
Yes, I've heard about it from several women in the family. They all say the same thing. It's lousy, doesn't work, is expensive and causes a rash. I'd avoid it at all costs.
Rather than buying an expensive new eye cream that probably won't work, try something simple, such as using the eye cream you already have, but using it twice a day, or a plain massage oil, such as almond oil or rosehip.
I heard eye vive is terrible. The staff at the company are rude and pushy. I even heard they hire people at low wages to sell their cheap product on the internet. Don't get suckered in by their tactics. Make sure you tell all of your friends not to buy this product. Thank you for bringing it to the attention of the internet. When someone does a search on eye vive, this post will show up. Thank you diane for mentioning this product on AnswerPool. Word of mouth is the best way to spread the word about such a terrible company. As for the best product for your under eye dryness, go see a dermatologist.

Get more sleep. It's the most straightforward step you can take to beat your dark circles. Aim for seven to eight hours of sleep a night. Tip: Sleep with your head elevated on a pillow to reduce any puffiness around the eyes.

I like you have a similar problem. Much of my problem can be attributed to lack of sleep. I have tried all sorts of products from home remedies to expensive top of the line eye cremes. I recently found an skincare regimen specifically for eye care that can be found here -
I realize that linking is frowned upon in this forum, but that simple 3 step procedure (actually 2 for me since I'm a guy and don't wear eye makeup) has really helped the skin around my eyes look and feel much younger.
Hope this helps!

If you realize a link is frowned upon, why post it? If the initial poster were still active, you would be better off contacting her directly.
However, here is a tip for everyone with skin problems: go to a dermatologist! Honestly, that is the only person who can accurately diagnose your condition and prescribe the correct regimen and treatment.
