What natural topical remedies are there to relieve the itching from hives ?

YUCK! my mother gets hives ALL THE TIME! she is severly allergic to soy (and its everywhere!) so far all we have thought of to do is put lotion on them and use a wire brush to scratch them when you just cant stand it anymore...tell me if you get anything better!

Benadryl liquid works for me.

Hydracortizone cream works for our family for most itches. Get the most potent available off the shelf and it may help.

My mom takes Bendaryl for her hives. It usually works.

Benadryl pills would help reduce the hives and be careful it can make you sleepy. That is what the put in Tyenol Pm.
For the itch topically their are many different kinds of itch creams. I like itch X. It doesn't have the cortizone in it.
I would suggest you talk to your doctor and see if you find out why you get the hives so you can avoid it if possible. You may never no why. But good luck.
