Seriously, don't pick on the pimples, THAT'S what creates the scars. See a dermatologist. You'll most likely bounce around from brand to brand of acne medication until u find the right one for u, but eventually u will. It shouldn't take long. I'm sorry, I didn't catch if u were a boy or girl, but if you're female, the birth control ortho-trycyclene has been known to be REALLY good for clearing up acne. You might want to give that a try, I know some people who have gotten on it strictly for acne reasons. AND, don't scrub your face! That doesn't help at all, it just irritates the skin. Anyways, hope i helped!

Well, it just so happens that I have the answer for you...In some cases of acne grades 1&2 the marks are left by the picking one does in the mirror...This is self inflicted and the person has to do some behavior modification to stop him or her from picking...in grades 3&4 the acne itself causes the pock mark scarring...this is because the body sends white blood cells to kill the bacteria in the follical and in the surounding skin...the same stuff that kills the bacteria in the body also "eats" the skin...this is how they are formed...the only way to avoid the scarring is to be on medications that fend off the acne...this is only reccomended for grades 3&4 due to the side effects of the drugs. The best thing you can do is talk to a Derm. or Esthetician...who works in an acne clinic or for a derm. Good luck.. wink

Yep. Have an acid peel or a dermabrasion. Both are just as unpleasant as they sound, but apprently do the job.
