Try aftershave. Aftershave is lotion that's meant to soothe the skin after shaving. There are lots of products that can help do this. I'm not sure if you're looking for a specific brand perhaps.

And yep, Nivea does make a Nivea for men.

Hope that helps you out. Let us know if there's anything else.

Some suggestions - Try shaving under a hot shower. You really don't need a mirror for anything except getting your sideburns even. After a while, you can do that by feel. You will be amazed at how much closer your shave is and how little it hurts. If you cut yourself, just run a cold shower for a minute or so and the bleeding will stop. If you can't do that, get a towel wet, not dripping wet, but damp. Microwave it for a minute. Now cover your face with it. Basically, this is how barbers shaved men for centuries. (Not the microwave part, but the hot moist towel.) Another factor is your razor. Rinse it after every stroke. Keeping it clean of debris makes for a smoother, closer shave.

Doug is describing Razor Burn perfectly
Never met Him or know what his skin is like
I wet shave and like Doug have had razor burn I use a Shaving gel for Sensitive skin and a fresh razor every shave. Once they lose their edge the blade pulls the bristle or scrapes the skin OW! Frown Can stretch it to 2 shaves in an emergency but.. it gets painful Frown
I avoid using an electric razor they take too long ,don't give a good shave and, they too pluck bristles if the blades are old or in need of cleaning Roll Eyes
Lots of tips on the link above on how to avoid Razor Burn Wink

Hey Doug, I used to have all kinds of problems with burning, stinging, and razor bumps. Get you a good straight razor. For a shaving cream, use the facial cleanser "Noxzema". Apply it just like you would shaving cream. Get you a little tube of hydrocortizone to keep handy. After you finish your shave, on the parts of the face that usually burns or gets razor bumps, apply some of that hydrocortizone. This, I promise, will work wonders. I will never use shaving gel or cream. Hey Doug, I used to have all kinds of problems with burning, stinging, and razor bumps. Get you a good straight razor.
