I bought a hub for my computer because I didn't like constantly plugging and unplugging peripherals into my USB ports.

(For the electronically innocent, a 'hub' is a gadget that plugs into one port but allows four or more usb's to plug into it. Sort of like an electric "octopus" that lets you plug more than one appliance into one electric outlet.)

So I was posting my purchase to my bookkeeping software. And I couln't remember what the gadget was called. I was just about to go dig the package out of recycle when I glanced at my TV screen where there was a sports show, with the sound off, with some bulky-looking dude in football- or soccer togs, and on the bottom of the screen was printed THE HUB.

I have never seen that word on a TV screen before.

What are the odds? Or is it just another case of divine intervention?

DIVINE INTERVENTION! Oh, well, just because tsaeb of all members here posted this does not mean that you do not have guardian angels providing words of knowledge--in addition to divine (from God) intervention, of course.

My policy is when I do something right, I take the credit. When I do something that makes no sense I blame divine intervention for planting the idea in my brain.

That seems to be SOP for a lot of people.

I am not one to believe that we have to wait until our bodies die before we are under the judgment. Hence I, too, believe that angels carry out God's dirty work of tempting us, since God does not do such things Himself.
