In a picture recently taken with me in it, there is a clock reading 8:08 p.m. sitting above a TV with the digits "1" and "4" showing up in white below the clock on the upper frame around the TV screen. In other words, below the clock is the number "1" and below it is the number "4." Can you make anything serious of this? For example, should I await next December 14 at 8:08 a.m. and 8:08 p.m.? At those times, should I stay at home, or should I go out? What are your godly messages, vibes, experiences, and so on?
It sounds like a shadow from something in the room showed on the wall when the camera flashed. It could be a light shining in the room which caused the white spots. Either can cause those "ghosts" people see in pictures. Look around the TV and look for something with that shape. It could be anything. It could be the shadow of the back of your TV, the underside of the clock, the shadow of a picture, something extending from the TV or even a vase hitting the light at the right angle. It could even be a shadow from another person's jewelry who was in the picture next to you. I don't think there is anything mystical about it. It could be a dirty camera lens. The possibilities are endless. I would rule out a message from above.

OK, there is an oddly shaped glass dish next to the clock. Even so, I'll be glad when December 14 passes--and I don't have the patience on this one to await August 8.
I'm guessing this was some sort of user error or other problem with the camera. What sort of camera was used? What was the process for developing? It sounds like a reflection or shadow to me. Without actually seeing the picture, it's hard to do anything but guess. I expect that if there were any sort of message going on here, you of all people would have certain knowledge of that and wouldn't need to question it. As you do question it, I'm guessing it's not a message at all.

Well, I agree with Clare and Elexina that the likeliest explanation is that this is simply an odd reflection or shadow, maybe even a smudge or bit of dust on your lens, but it probably would not hurt anything if you bought a lottery ticket with the numbers 1,4,8,12 and 14

Elexina: Ah, you know that I was mostly wondering how others react to such occurrences. Indeed, I had no faith that it meant anything supernatural; however, I am using what I think to be superstition regarding December 14. Of course, I will be quite startled if anything occurs on that day.
MrsS: Now, that's more like it--having a round at picking the lotto numbers. I once dreamed some numbers, but I assure you that they did not come out. Maybe I wouldn't be here if they had.
As you know (because I told you umpteen million times )psychic abilities/esp/predictions/blah are based on the interpretations of the person witnessing/experiencing them.
I could look at that picture and it could tickle a memory or make a connection in my brain which would or could lead me to a conclusion that could be accurate. Or I could look at it and not even see the 14 in it. The more data I have to work with the more accurate my "reading" would be. However since you are the one who noticed this and are reacting to it you most likely have all the data you need to get a "read" out of this phenomena.
What is your gut reaction? Stop thinking about it and focus on what feelings it provokes in you. Therein lies your answer.

Well, you'll find out soon enough. The 14th is tomorrow
In the meantime, whilst getting your affairs in order, please pause and reconsider the posts above.History is littered with examples of people reading omens into slight observations. The tabloid press in more religious countries than Britain (hard to imagine that there is such a place, but I've a good imagination ) fills its pages with pictures of rice grains, pizzas, the surface of the moon, boiled eggs, snow formations on Mont Blanc and many another thing which is said to represent Jesus and be a portent of something or other And as for omens in general they have a pretty good line in 'unexplained' observations and phenomena to 'prove' everything from the end of the world to the impending arrival of aliens from outer space. Why not treat this as some meaningless trick of observation ? As an omen it isn't much good anyway: it is not exactly specific is it?
Elexina: I meant that my lumping the whole thing onto December 14 felt superstitious, but that is probably the wrong word. I don't know much about entertaining likely false predictions.
FredPuli: Hilarious! You were trying to scare me about tomorrow when the 14th was yet two days away.
Georgia85: Nah, that old baby has not even been used for over six years. It gets a horizontal line from time to time until it is whacked on its side. I hope that no one flatlines on the 14th.
David: Yeah, number 14 has personal meaning, something about what I should be doing, instead of watching too much TV! I thought of that, but I didn't like going the guilt trip route--too much imagination. (I resisted the temptation to play the numbers, but for how long, I do not know. )
Oh No... I think you may be right. Someone warned me in an email about December 14th. I got a similar one October 28.
quote:
I know a lot of rumors have been going around about planned or possibly planned terrorist attacks. Most of these e-mails I read and pretty much go on about my day. This however sounds SERIOUS!
Don't go to the bathroom on December 14. CIA intelligence reports that a major plot is planned for that day. Anyone who takes a poop on the 14th will be bitten on the butt by an alligator. Reports indicate that organized groups of alligators are planning to rise up into unsuspecting American's toilet bowls and bite them when they are doing their dirty business.
I usually don't send emails like this, but I got this information from a reliable source. It came from a friend of a friend whose cousin is dating this girl whose brother knows this guy whose wife knows this lady whose husband buys hotdogs from this guy who knows a shoeshine guy who shines the shoes of a mailroom worker who has a friend who's drug dealer sells drugs to another mailroom worker who works in the CIA building. He apparently overheard two guys talking in the bathroom about alligators and came to the conclusion that we are going to be attacked. So it must be true.

Bah, on the night of the 15th, the number 814 came out here in NY, and you can check this out yourself.
I always say that I will not play my hunches, because they come out the day after. It seems that I cannot believe either my own professions of faith or my own foreknowledge: that's because I believe that successful outcomes are coincidence.
Even so, if I am going to play a number at all, I may as well play one which is a hunch (intuition). I suppose that I am just not one much for playing numbers: that's because I reason that when I did play them, they never did come out--at the correct time that is.
I should have listened to myself. I was going to buy 814--straight and boxed--for a week, but I got too busy due to the coming holiday and too incredulous due to thinking the whole thing to be a gift horse with a lying tongue. I should not have looked into that gift horse's mouth! However, every time I did follow such a hunch, I lost my investment. Ya get what ya pay for. Nothin' ventured, nothin' gained. Now, I am looking around for the money which I could have gained, knowing that sooner or later it will turn up elsewhere, which is likely why I paid no attention and money to the digits in the first place. . . .
I trust God to tend to my money needs. I say that money knows who I am. I always come into what I need when I need it, even to the exact dollar. I just thought that I needed $60 to renew my antivirus software, and the state sent me a refund for $60. I tried to talk the agency out of it, the refund being for something other than taxes two years back, but the state was eager to get the money to me. I have strong faith; that's why. P.S. I am looking around for $250 + $40 = $290 due me. I'll look for $300.
