That is not nearly as bad as Hammacher Schlemmer. They send me five catalogs at a time. I have phoned and asked them to delete the four with the fewest errors in mt address, explaining that I'm an environmentalist and the thought of throwing four pristine catalogs printed in vivid colors directly into recycle annoys me, and if they don't stop I'll stop buying, so they say "Oh, sorry, we'll take care of that right away". But they buy so many name lists that by the second-next list they're as bad as ever. And I stopped buying. But still they come. The last one has the same spelling error as one I first got in 1994. I wonder how many times that address has been round the world? I believe I'll try and start a 'green' thread on here, and then threaten to bad-mouth them on my ecology blog. ( White lie. )

For around a decade, I have been receiving mail from Figi's with both my first and last names mispelled. That is reason enough to not order. This year, however, I ordered, hoping to satisfy all of these desires: 1) food, 2) getting mail with my whole name spelled correctly, 3) finding out what all of the 6 free gifts are and getting them, and 4) spending to improve the economy. This year, I just could not outweigh my annoyance with these 4 reasons. I think it is true that changing one's mind is an explainable phenomenon.
