Something strange happened to me, and I can't figure it out, even tho it has nothing to do with ghosts....I had two keys on a safety pin, and it was pinned to the inside of my swimsuit while I was in the pool. When I got out, one of the keys had come off the pin and had fallen down in my swimsuit, but the pin never opened. This is scary. How could this have happened? Have something like this ever happened to you?

That is very strange. I have a strange 'key' story also, I'll try to make it brief.
I got a new desk, small with only two drawers, one that has a lock, and a skeleton type key, which I kept in my jewelry box. I never locked the drawer, no need to. One day I went to get something from the drawer with the lock, and low and behold, it was locked. I went to the jewelry box to get the key, but I couldn't find it, the key that is, not the jewelry box I looked everywhere, upstairs downstairs, double, triple checked everywhere. My husband had a collection of skeleton keys, and hoping one would work I tried everyone of them, but no luck. So I gave up and cleaned the house, top to bottom, and all but forgot about the dang drawer. I had the house clean and shiny, had just finished vacuuming the stairs, brought the vacuum back down to the basement, and what do you suppose I found on the top step on my way back upstairs? The key. Never did figure that one out, either.

LVLF, that is very strange, also. Maybe there are some kind of curse on keys. One time a whole set of keys disappeared from the car to the house, and was never found.

Look, I'm here alone because my husband just went to work, and I'm beginning to get a scary feeling writing about these strange happenings.

The pin could have opened due to movement, the key could have fallen off, and, again due to movement, the pin closed again. That is the most likely explanation. Occam's Razor.

Dorian, that's the only explanation that I could come up with, as well. Still, that's very strange. The only way to get it off is to open the pin. Hope I wasn't hypnotized.

I'm thinking the key fell off the pin when you were pinning it to your swimsuit.

It is obvious to me that the key underwent a momentary phase displacement, just enough to break the molecular bonds holding it together so the solid pin would pass through the key. This may be due to the dissimilar metals (key and pin being different metals) the chlorine in the pool and the water having a slight electrical charge due to friction from all the waves caused by swimming.

My explanation must be right because it is the longest and the most strange of them all....

Again, Phase displacement. This time, however, it is due to the key coming in contact with a precious stone (Obviously since the key was in a jewelry box) This suggests to me that you have a Diamond (Carbon Crystal).

The energy created for just looking for the key was enough to propel the key into hyper space where it was energized even more through the continued hunt then the energetic house cleaning.

Due to the face that the Earth rotates, and that it also orbits the sun which in turn moves through Space Time as the whole solar system travels around the galactic core which also moves (the whole galaxy) at right angles to the speed of the Big Bang, means that as soon as you stopped introducing energy (Hunting and house work) the key fell back out of Hyper Space, however, the Universe had moved on and the key landed at the top of the stair case.

Again, my explanation is the correct one having all the technical terms and is the most lengthy.
