Mecca would be Islam's holiest city. It is mentioned once in Quran by another name. What is that name ?

Hint: A similar name is used in the Bible which may or may not refer to Mecca.

Hi Bik,
Is the other name used Bakka? I'm not sure of the correct spelling.

The answer is right.

003.096
YUSUFALI: The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings:
PICKTHAL: Lo! the first Sanctuary appointed for mankind was that at Becca, a blessed place, a guidance to the peoples;
SHAKIR: Most surely the first house appointed for men is the one at Bekka, blessed and a guidance for the nations.

I guess spellings in english do not matter.

The place refered to in Psalm 84 verse 6 , may be refering to Mecca.

5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.

6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools
