Every week, almost all Americans make mention of some Norse gods. How?

By simply referring to those days
of the week named after Norse deities !

Such as :

Tuesday "Tiu's Day" Norse God
of war sometimes called Tyr, Tiv, or Tiwaz.

Wednesday "Woden's Day" (also known as
Odin he is the supreme Norse God.

Thursday "Thor's Day" a son of
Odin and Norse God of Thunder. Brings a new
meaning to the phrase "getting hammered"!

Friday "Freya's Day" The Norse
Goddess of Love and Beauty (Though there are
scholars who believe that Friday was actually
named after Frigga the Goddess of Fertility)
