Does anyone know of any equipment or photo shops that can convert my home videos to DVD from VCR format? What is the cost also?

Wildflower: If your home movies are already on a videotape, it would be quite easy to do this yourself. You'll need to purchase a DVD recorder. There are several companies making them currently. I am pretty sure that Samsung is marketing one for about $500. Now granted, that might be a substantial investment, but if you have someone else do this for you it would be easy to spend that and of course you would not own the DVD recorder when you were finished doing your home movies. The process itself is simply play the VCR into the input of the DVD recorder. That would be my suggestion to you.
