OK...ever since the time change, my VCR thinks it's a different day. I only tape a couple of things, but it's been taping the day before I actually want.
The day/time is set correctly, but it keeps taping on the wrong day. Any thoughts as to why it would do that???
(I know, I know, DVD is the way to go - but I'm not a big high-tech toy person - my VCR works just fine...well, till NOW!!)
Hmm. That is very curious. My first suggestion would be: unplug it for like a day until it doesn’t remember what day it is, and then re-set everything. Or you could try taking it to a service center. How old is your VCR? You may want to consider getting a new one. There are some inexpensive low-tech ones out there. Get something with a warrantee or a service agreement, though.
And DVD is totally NOT the way to go. If you want to be taping programs, well, you can’t do that on DVDs.

Lydia, I'm assuming that you have set up your VCR memory with times, dates, and channels for the shows that you want to tape. Have you gone and verified that those settings are up to date? I experienced the same thing you are experiencing but mine started the first of March. It was because Feb had an extra day in the month and the way the memory was set up in the VCR March 1 & 2 were both being considered as a Monday...March 2 & 3 were both being considered as a Tuesday..and so on and so forth. I had to reset all my recording times and pay close attention to what weekday came up with the date I was putting in.
