My friend is looking for a small tv she would like 13 in at the biggest 19 and wants a vcr/dvd player combo...Do they make these and where can she get one? Thanks

I've seen such TVs at KMart, for about $150. Since I need a TV (OK, I really want a TV.), I'd buy one, but I can't justify $150 (or even find it in my budget) for a TV. There may be good news, with HDTV coming and analog signals leaving next February; prices on analog TVs should drop. That BlueRay technology is going to replace DVDs may even lower that price further.

Kitty, I have a 20" tv/vcr/dvd/ combo for my bedroom, and I got it at Circuit City. It cost 249.00 two years ago. It is so convenient to have the combo.

I think the 13" only have the two-way combo, you can choose either the vcr/tv or the dvd/tv combo. And of course, you can play your cd's in the dvd player.

Now Dorian, Bush wants you to go out and buy a tv with your stimulus check to help boost the economy.

I misread the products I linked to above. Sorry. Here are some options. The first page has some VCR/DVD combos, w/o a TV screen. Not what you asked for, but I saw a couple for $64, up to one at about $180, with several between.

Thanks honi and DG...sge definitely wants a vcr on it because she has a ton of tapes...but also wants the dvd....sigh..lol...I found a few on craigs list but am not sure how that works...is it safe to buy from there?
