I have a DVD player which has three hookups coming out from it... one red and one white "audio out" hookups, and a yellow "video out" hookup. The TV doesn't have any of the cooresponding hookups like newer TVs do, it just has one of the little hookups where you plug the "pin" type connector in, then turn the outside until it's tight. (Sorry for the horrible description, but I don't know what that hookup is called!)

So I'm wondering if such an adapter exists that would allow me to hook up this DVD player. It would need to have a hookup on one end for the little "pin" connector, then places for the 3 colored hookups coming from the DVD player.

If anyone could help me figure out if this is posisble, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm not exactly sure how to go about searching for this type of thing on the net. Thanks!

Yes, there is such a thing. It is called an RF modulator like this one will do the trick:

There will probably be other options at RadioShack or Circuit City.

An alternative is to use a VCR (this is what I do).

I should stop posting when I'm tired. My syntax was a little tangled and I meant to say that Best Buy and Circuit City (as well as other such stores) should have other options.

Here are some of those other options:
Circuit City
Best Buy 1
Best Buy 2

Looks like methos has got you "hooked up." I'd just like to add that, if faced with a similar question again (as you probably will be), the color-coded audio/video connectors are called RCA or phono connectors and what you describe as a little pin connector is called an F-connector or 75-ohm cable connector. Gotta know the lingo! Smile
