Does anyone know of a good videocamera for our church? We used to use our personal one, bought circa 1995, and we set up a tripod in the back of the church. Then we tranferred it to VHS. Along the way, the sound is distorted and the picture is fuzzy. I want to spend about $500. Does anyone know of one I might buy? I've looked in the stores, and one guy who had just rolled out of bed said that $800 was the least we could get away with. However, knowing this is for a church, and that the picture quality is not the main issue, it's hard to believe there is no cheaper way to produce the sermon tapes. Any ideas?
