Does the V-Block come with it's own controller?

We have an old poster here who managed to fix it. See here. She found the solution through the manual though. So it looks like you might need to call Changhong (an
American representative for the company probably) or another TV proffesional of some kind.

I am coming up with a dead end on this search
Only thing to do is take the tv to a repair shop and ask them to remove the unit or bypass it if they have the diagram for this model?
That's my best idea
Ps There are TV repair forums but they are difficult to ask for advice on Frown and the answers are beyond the majority of people Red Face

It seems we need a few copies of the manual or a PDF (Acrobat)File for this item Yet we cannot source either Red Face (Rare failure) Frown
If there was an "Old manuals and Handbooks.com" site we have told you about this site (which somebody must Set up eventually?) Roll Eyes Just about a site for everything else bar this Frown

I found the information on how to remove the v-block on the apex website http://apexdigital.com then look under the tv faq files. thats where i found the codes to turn off the v-chip in my changhong tv. the code for mine was 6688. try it it may workk for you. the other one they listed was 3308. There where other instructions but I dont remeber them right now. It's best to go out to the site and print them off.

Nice one Gerald! Cool
Goes to prove that somebody can find the answer to a nearly impossible problem.
This is a good example of how this site works for everyone
Some answers may take some time to come(if there is an answer?) and comes from a 1-off visitor or useless Knowledge among other things Wink BTW Most of us rely on the Latter Big Grin
This V guide-block topic has come up twice for this model over the years now we have a possible good answer for it.
Again, Thanks for locating this link Gerald Smile

Hi Malikkah
Welcome to Answerpool
I agree it is a odd access Confused
You are only going to be there for a few minutes(never to return?) Roll Eyes
Try a made up access name Like Betty boop
and ABCD for a password to gain entry? Wink
If you get access then well done Wink
No access then click on the Logo under the Banner this will open your email box and you can
ask the people the link goes to admin@webnet.ca not the published address Roll Eyes
Hope this Helps?
And Before the Others or Moderators say something. Do Not type with your Caps lock Light on
It's viewed as Shouting when Typing in CAPITAL LETTERS.Theonlylight that should be lit is the Number lock Light Ok?
Tell us how you fare? Thanks
