Simply put, yes. Be sure to disable the one you don't plan on using. Example: Disabling Windows Firewall before installing a different FW program

I know it sounds confusing but The Windows firewall Is Kept as a Last ditch (very weak)
barrier in case the primary firewall fails

I Have COMODO on mine which also has an antivirus check too (all Free)
There is another Firewall which is switched on all of the Time and that is in the router
Only way to fix or update this is via a "firmware update" which is easier than it sounds Hard part is viewing the Menus to see the version numbers and locating the update

This Firewall does not protect the Computer only filters the traffic through the router.
NOTE Dialup and BB Modems have None
As we always say Do put an Antivirus Program such as Avast! and a Spyware Protector such as Spywareblaster in the Mix as well(Populates your restricted site list ) and the Defence will be complete. Recommend you run all these at least on default/standard settings and update at least Monthly, Avast! updates daily
