My Norton anti-virus has detected a trojan elite virus on my computer but it cannot delete or quarantine it. What can I do?

Jenny
There are removers listed but they only disable
(have to pay to remove!)The object remains in situ
I do have a solution but it means going elsewhere ok?
Have you heard of a program called HiJack This?
Originally designed for browser Hijacks but has become invaluable for removing bad Viruses spyware and other things
I want you to go to this this Forum at www.Webuser.co.uk Read the TOP pinned posting first for instructions on how to run it
Download the program install it ,run it and submit the log to the forum (Have to register to Post) with a short message telling the checkers what they are looking for Then wait for their reply(very busy area) They have a Hijack this Helper tag accept help from nobody else (it's an expert program)can crash Windows badly if you delete the wrong thing/s on the tick list

Thanks Bedstor, I'll try it now.

Which forum do I have to register to?
The one with the pinned article or the one I downloaded the item from.

My choice? The one with the pinned posting (Webuser)only because I post there often.
The other site is OK but they are a bit standoffish ("Heres the solution bye!" Frown) Need to have several postings logged before you get them to "Drop their Guard"
