If you are an AOL user bookmark this posting I have made in the UK to see if AOL are going to come up wth a fix for AOL 9.0 but its replacement(AOL Explorer) may also require a patch? Have asked the staff over there to make enquiries (Its a Computer magazine)
Outside Norht America, almost everybody is using the old Software hence the urgency in this posting
AOL have till "update Tuesday" (14th November) to come up with a way out of this

to any one who wishes to use IE6 until they have shook the rust of IE7 or issed patches to make it compatible will AOL9

This line in the Run box

In my testing, AOL9 works just fine with IE7. Sometimes it'll GPF when running Radio@AOL, but it did that with IE6.

I have news from the AOL boards (one of the experts) The issues have been cleared up and All AOL versions from 5 thru 9(current) will run with IE 7.0
And this download is for XP only

Additionally If you Run MS Outlook to send Email I see in another forum this is having problems working with IE 7.0
Only advice I can give is is not download this update or use another email service until this issue is resolved (via a patch)
PS Looks as though we'll all have to make chances to the security/content settings and change the Homepage over...Its going to be a learning processs for a lot of us in the coming weeks.
