I saw this page and I am afraid it is too much for me I thought there woud be something easier for me to understand. I am not that much computer literate even though I sometimes think I am. Thanks anyway but this is really too much for me.
I cleaned my computer with spy bot- mcafee virus scan microsoft windows defender and nothing showed up. I then went to system restore and all is ok now so I guess it was not a virus but as they say a browser highjacker. Anyway I hope I did not just put a bandaid on the sore but really fixed it. Thank you for your suggestion though. If I had been more computer literate I would have done it.
