The Update to Windows XP3 on the Windows Update
Link and its over 300MB Download full of old security updates and a few tweaks TIP run CCleaner or Easycleaner after this has installed and your computer is working again on the Registry cleaner and see all the rubbish come tumbling out .Get this done before the Next scheduled security update which is in 2 weeks.
Anyway, the reason this has been delayed is some High powered PCs use a slightly different route to download and this has been causing Misloads both with XP & the recent Vista update.
There is another way to get this download and that avoids
Windows Update telling you there is a download ready (The "Yellow Shield "icon shows by the clock)

TIP Use the Isolated areas OK as there will be less strain on the Servers .and if you are on Dialup do use a
Download manager on this Download as it will take several hours
and B) it will save the postion if you want to switch off and resume the next time you log in (Lose Nothing!

If you decline to use it and you get a crash. You have to start over again. Or, there is a small chance a piece of data was missed or corrupt or a Non runner You Guessed it Start again!!

Leechget Awful name, but is easy to set up and run

On the other end of the scale Do Not touch Gator This is also a good program but Its been notorious for Spyware and other nasties!!!
