I have Trend Micro and normally get a couple of "updates" a day. This evening -- I'm getting them every few minutes! What the???

Does anyone know of anything weird going on tonite??? I just don't understand why I'm getting tons of these updates!

we are getting them on Avast! and AVG
check out the Updates posting on the Security Forum at www.webuser.co.uk (agree Aprils has gone Mad ) something called Mytob plus some oldies have made reappearences ourstanley has a link in a posting Bit double dutch but that's the cause of the current Panic updates

The weirdest thing I've seen today is the gazillions of people using the term "gazillion", which is an indeterminately large number.

Just kidding...The Trend Micro update page shows 5 updates out for the 21st of April, 2005. If you've seen more than that, I would suggest you email the Trend Micro Technical Support people to see if they have an explanation.

Thanks, guys.... the bombarding of updates has finally subsided. It made me nervous, but .. hmmm...

I'm still wondering what that was all about! It was happening about every 3 minutes.

Following up on this....
On the Saturday of this very "Busy" week there was only 1 update on the A2 AV program which was a scheduled update!
From all the other sources there was nothing at all
