Recently a got a new toolbar on my computer called Intelligent explorer. I have no idea what it is, except that I don't like having it there and I want to delete it. I tried going to the add or remove programs section, but I don't see any programs called intelligent explorer. Does anyone know what name it is really called I guess, so I can delete it from the program list. Or do you know of any other ways I can delete it?

Test your browser:

You can read a bit about "Intelligen Explorer" here: Click Here

Removal:
You can try Ad-Aware; Click Here and/or Spybots: Click Here (I would recommend using both).

Also, you can use "HiJackThis" Click Here Get help with HiJackThis at this forum: Click Here

Prevention:
Finally, you can prevent most of these infestations by using Spware Blaster: Click Here

I hope this helps!

I'd be here all day explaining how I got to this answer.
What I found out was this tool bar is generated by a piece of spyware which is in the Spywareblaster Database called IE Plugin Mad
So if Yafa runs Spybot and Ad-Aware to remove this toolbar then installs Spywareblaster (To stop this(and many others Mad)from getting back) She'll have no more grief Cool

Give it a go Yafa WinkFirst check it has an uninstall link? or if not it appears on the Add/Remove Program list?(find this on the Control Panel link)
It has nothing to do with your Internet Explorer
When you have done this press the reset button or switch off and start again
If after restarting it appears again Mad we'll try something else.
But if there is an improvement? Roll Eyes we'll get Spywareblaster up and running to stop this happening again Cool

I haven't uninstalled it yet, but when I went to uninstall it asked me to click yes to the terms of agree, and that I have to download the uninstall.

"UNINSTALL INSTRUCTION:
Step 1: Download uninstall.exe above and save it onto your desktop.
Step 2: Close all programs, especially INTERNET EXPLORER.
Step 3: Run uninstall.exe
Note: if you receive an error during the uninstall process, it could mean you are not running the specific module or it was removed previously. "

This program is annoying enough already as it is. I don't want to download anything else without being sure I am not downloading another bot or something.

Yafa, use the links I provided above. The Ad-Aware and Spybots will remove this pest plus many others.
