I have several programs on my computer. I don't know what a few of them are and I can't seem to get rid of any of them.

Some are in the add/remove program thing, a couple are not.

When I do Ctrl,Alt,Del, there are two programs that are on there and they constantly perform illegal operations.

Rnathchk
msgsrv32
faxdb(when I do C,A,D alot of the time it says faxdb not responding)

In my add/remove programs I have a few things that I cannot get rid of. In fact, usually when I try to remove one of them, my computer freezes up.

Those programs are...Bridge Which I have no clue what it is.
Second is My Web Search (smiley central)
Third Search 2020 Whenever I search for something on MSN, the first thing to come up search wise is look for at Search 2020.
Fourth Web Savings from Ebates

How do I get ride of those?

I hope this makes sense...

Also...this is a different topic but sometimes my keyboard acts up. Like for instance, when I first started typing this, typing certain letters caused a program to open up. For instance typing R caused RUN to open instead of typing R and E caused Explorer to open up. This happens fairly often. The only way to fix it is to restart my computer. Any idea how th is happens?

Thank You. Smile Any help is greatly appreciated.

(I hope this all made sense)

PS I have something else to add that I totally forgot about. (btw- the stupid faxdb performed another illegal operation just as I clicked on the edit button Roll Eyes Mad)

Every so often when I am using my computer...I'd say appx. 3x an hour, an error window comes up.

This little window comes up that says Loader Error The Procedure entry point InternetGetConnectedState could not be located in the dynamic link WINNET.dll

What in the heck is that and how do I get rid of it?

I have found this information that might be helpful.

This came from one of those computer forums:

Rnathchk: Part of Real Networks’ RealOne Player
Recommendation : If you decide to keep RealOne Player, and are only interested in playing
streaming video and music, and little else, then configure your firewall to also block RNATHCHK from being able to access the Internet, as its sole and only purpose seems to be to pick up Real Networks "update" notifications. An alternative that also works is to rename RNATHCHK.EXE to, say, RNATHCHK.EXE.OLD and that will ensure that it does not load (disabling it with Startup Manager does not work, it still loads unless you rename the program file).

msgrv32: http://www.ts-consulting.net/MSGSRV32.HTM

faxdb: used with WinFax PRO, fax management software for small businesses.

search 2020 spyware: http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=slv1-&p=search+2020+spyware

thanks, Dixie Smile

faxdb- I don't have FaxPRO software. I don't even have a fax machine. I have no clue where it came from and don't know how to get it off.

Search2020 I know what that is but just can't seem to get it off.

and the site about the msgrv32 was a big help. I'll have to DL the new updates for my sound card drivers.

Thank You again Smile
